Shambles of an organisation. Ordered online to collect instore, received confirmation stating my order would be available next day but not to visit store until I'd received a further confirmation e-mail. 4 days later and still awaiting e-mail. Tried to make contact: (i) waited on phone for over half an hour before having to hang up as I had an appointment - unlike some other organisations they do not give you feedback to let you know your position in the call waiting list (ii)Contacted their Virtual Assistant online which was a waste of time; (iii)Waited an interminable length of time to speak to web chat assistant before having to give up - life really is too short. Quick to take your money but after that their interest ends. would give no stars if possible

I bought a laptop a week ago and it has some audio issues. I’ve tried to fix it but it is impossible so I decided to call Curry’s to ask about replacement or how I can do to have my money back. I’ve called 3 times, 50min each and nobody’s answered. It is a shame.Very unhelpful, no communication with costumers, really a bad experience!

Ordered a mobile phone and on the 25th November I received am open parcel with an empty box. I immediately contacted Curry's who said they would investigate it and be in touch by the 14th December... well 14th December came and I hadn't heard anything so I got back in touch when I was told it had been escalated and to allow 24-48 hours but once again this time went and I still had not heard anything! I contacted Curry's again and again told it had been escalated now to the refund team, please allow 24-48 hours but again nothing so again I contacted them and was told they were going to manually order the refund and allow 3-5 days which again I did and nothing. Not once has Curry's contacted me regarding this issue and now every time I get through to anyone they hang up or leave the chat. I still have no phone or refund from them and they are impossible to deal with. NEVER order from Curry's, they don't care about their customers and I now believe them to be theives. I have caught them in at least 6 lies now and when confronted about these lies guess what... the agent dissappears.
Despicable service! Cooker broke - in October (we are now in December). They sent another with fitters to install who decided to play electrician and state it couldn’t be connected with the fuse I have - despite it was a like-for-like, replacing a cooker that has been there for two years! I raise this in store (Nottingham), who send out two different engineers who say the last two didn’t know what they were talking about and the electric circuit is perfectly fine (one was an electrician). They unbox the cooker left by the last two engineers to find it damaged, so couldn’t fit it. They raised yet another delivery (a third cooker and I still have the broken one AND the damaged one in my house). No one bothers to turn up on that delivery. I go into the store and they state it was cancelled by the fitters as they had told me to re order the cooker myself and as I hadn’t, they cancelled fitting! Which was not true! I spent two hours in store whilst this ongoing issue - which is now 2 months ongoing - was dealt with. They inform me the cooker is now out of stock (probably because they are all in my house!) and it’s highly unlikely it will be in stock or be fitted before Christmas. So not only will it be three months by the time I get the cooker, I am without one for Christmas. So no Christmas dinner for my family! I ask to speak to the manager as the front of store staff are running back and forth to speak to him. He says he will be 2 minutes. I ask again and again and again when he doesn’t come. Staff keep going to get him. After half an hour they call him to see if he is coming to speak to me and he says he has gone home!! I leave the store after 2 hours with no real resolution - just wait to see! Oh - and an apology which I am sure covers the hundreds of pounds I’ve spent on takeaways, meals out and the lack of a Christmas dinner! They offered me another cooker which was £50 more than the one i have but was a different colour and one I didn’t like. Today I received a call from a store manager who wasn’t at work when I had gone in the day before. He had picked up an email from the staff regarding my issue. He told me there is nothing they can do and said that I was offered another cooker which I declined! I highlighted that no one was GIVING me anything for free, this was not a charitable donation. I had PAID for the original cooker and was made to feel that if I didn’t accept any old cooker they were offering, then I’ve had my chance, so tough luck! Again I repeated the cooker they offered wasn’t the same colour and I shouldn’t just have to make do with something - that cost over £400. Again he said ‘well that’s it’. I asked his name and he gave me his Christian name- I asked for his last name and he refused to give it! The customer service in store (by front of house team) was brilliant and they were very apologetic and didn’t try to defend Curry’s and noted that I have not had a satisfactory service. However, one manager refused to speak to me and the other spoke to me with utter disrespect and made me feel like I’m in the wrong! I have emailed the CEO (who gives his last name, even though Jim won’t)! I have called to lodge a complaint as calls are recorded. Please avoid Curry’s at all costs! Managers done give a damn and customer care is out of the window. Meanwhile I will enjoy my apology and tough luck for Christmas dinner!

I ordered a washing machine from the Currys website, and paid extra for next day delivery. I was told the washing machine could arrive at any time from 7am to 7pm. I waited in all day, but it didn't arrive. I didn't even get a phone call from Currys to explain why they hadn't delivered, and by the time I realised they weren't coming it was too late for me to call customer services. I rang the next morning, and it took ages to get through. They didn't apologise for the no-show, and when I asked when my washing machine would be delivered, they just said "we may deliver it later today, if we've got time". I had to insist on a refund of the extra delivery charge I had paid, as I didn't see why I should pay extra for next day delivery when they hadn't delivered when they were supposed to! The washing machine did arrive eventually, although I had to stay in all day again without even knowing if they were going to turn up or not. Terrible customer service, I will not be ordering from Currys again.

Horrible experience. First they sell me somenthing they dont have in stock, and after a month since they charge it, Im still having troubles to get my money back. I contact customer services 6 times, with no better resoults. So dont trust them, dont buy them.

It isn’t Curry’s fault, I suppose, but I am not pleased with the Grundig dishwasher I bought in April.

Plumbers came in, caused a leak, told me to get a plumber and left. I complained to currys and they said someone would be in touch, no one was in touch and then sent an email saying that they had investigated it and that the pipe was broken before hand... no one even called let alone came to my home to investigate. Bunch of cowboys that they are working with (hawk logistics) shocking service and will never use again

My old TV developed a fault after 10 months and was beyond economical repair. The communication from Currys PC World during this process was hopeless. After 2 weeks I was given a credit voucher and decided to add some money to get a bigger TV as a replacement. If I had been given a cash alternative I wouldn't have used Currys at all. My new TV arrived on time however when I mentioned the removal of the box etc (as was stated on the e-mal as free of charge) I was told this doesn't count with TV's. I was left having to dispose of the packaging for a 70" Television, no easy feet. As a result of both instances I would never use or recommend Currys PC World to anyone......always quick to take your money but severely lacking with customer service.

The chaps that came were very fast, very efficient and polite, took away what as agreed and fitted the dishwasher quickly and easily.

I bought a telephone filter (the only one you had in stock) and found the other three I reqired at a quarter of the price for a neater product. Your website says goods can be returned if FOR ANY reason they are not to ones liking. Your store refused to take them back and said the website had been mis-interpreted. We needed a freezer urgently and we negotiated a deal for a display model which compensated for our loss on the filter.

Very helpful staff in store (Bruce) listened to what I was looking for, advised on tech of different models, paid for, delivered and took away old Freezer for recyclingKept me up to date with delivery date and time and arrive as promisedGreat Service throughout, great price too

I got what I needed in a quick and timely manner. The person that helped me was really knowledgable and advised me on all the accessories I needed without applying pressure. They really took all the pressure out of looking for the right product for my needs. I always get things from curry’s just because it’s so easy. I don’t tend to shop around because I can always get everything I need from here.
